The Mission: Architecting AI Operations

Waymo is seeking a technical visionary to spearhead their AI enablement strategy within the business systems landscape. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and technical execution, identifying manual bottlenecks across Finance, HR, and Supply Chain. Your goal is to design a roadmap where autonomous agents and intelligent workflows replace legacy manual processes, ensuring the company's internal infrastructure is as advanced as its self-driving technology.

The Tech Stack & Vibe Coding Workflow

This position is built for the modern developer who prioritizes rapid iteration and prompt-driven design. You will be expected to use generative AI tools to turn natural language prompts into functional prototypes, using these artifacts to validate business requirements before moving to production. Key technical pillars include:

• Core Languages: Heavy focus on Python and API-first architecture.
• AI Frameworks: Extensive use of LangChain, Vertex AI Agent Builder, and MCP.
• Ecosystem Integration: Connecting AI agents to enterprise powerhouses like SAP, Salesforce, and Workday via Google Cloud Platform.

Growth and Leadership

As the AI Enablement Lead, you aren't just writing code; you are defining the governance, performance benchmarks, and evaluation methodologies for AI across the entire organization.
