The Role: Reimagining Legal Infrastructure

Ares is looking for a tech-forward Associate to join their Legal Strategy and Innovation team. Instead of traditional legal work, you will act as an internal architect, using AI-driven development to streamline operations, automate intake processes, and modernize legacy workflows. You will work directly with the Head of Legal Transformation to turn ambiguous business needs into functional, high-efficiency systems.

Vibe Coding & Tech Stack

This position is designed for someone who lives in the world of GenAI. You will be expected to use natural language prompts and AI coding assistants to:

• Implement and scale legal technology and automation platforms.
• Create data-driven dashboards and KPI reporting using Power BI and similar tools.
• Design automated routing models and intelligent approval workflows.
• Apply vibe-coding techniques to accelerate the development of internal tools and knowledge-intensive resources.

This is a high-visibility role where you can prove the value of AI-assisted development in a corporate setting. You will move beyond simple prompt engineering to full-scale operational implementation, gaining experience in management consulting and legal tech strategy while helping one of the world’s leading investment firms scale its innovation efforts.
