Hardware Engineer

The Role

You will serve as the primary link between digital concepts and physical reality at a cutting-edge neurotechnology startup. This position requires a versatile engineer capable of shifting from parametric CAD modeling in the morning to precision soldering and electrical assembly in the afternoon. You are responsible for the entire hardware lifecycle: designing, prototyping, and scaling the production of proprietary brain-imaging components.

Python is the operational backbone of this lab, and the company specifically looks for engineers who 'vibe code' their way to functional tools. You will use AI-assisted coding to automate 3D printing queues, script instrument controls, and develop bespoke data logging systems. This approach allows you to bypass manual coding bottlenecks and focus on high-level mechanical and electrical problem-solving.
