M13 is searching for a NYC-based Summer Associate to serve as a bridge between elite venture capital and the newest generation of technical talent. Instead of just analyzing spreadsheets, you’ll be on the ground at top Northeastern universities like MIT and Harvard, identifying student founders who are rewriting the rules of software using AI.

AI-First Sourcing & Diligence

This role is designed for those who live and breathe emerging tech. Your primary mission involves:

• Community Engineering: Building deep relationships with technical students, campus AI clubs, and hackathon organizers.
• Technical Vetting: Using your intuition for AI-assisted development to help diligence frontier software ideas.
• Strategic Execution: Designing and hosting a major campus initiative—such as a builder-focused pitch day—to strengthen M13's pipeline.
