Mechanical Engineer

The Role

SSOE is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to bridge the gap between traditional high-tech facility design and modern AI-driven engineering. You’ll be designing critical infrastructure for advanced manufacturing and cleanroom environments, focusing on everything from HVAC and process utilities to wastewater systems. Instead of just grinding through manual calculations, you’ll be part of a team that views AI as a fundamental partner in solving complex spatial and hydraulic challenges from concept to completion.

The Tech Stack & Vibe

This isn't your standard Revit/AutoCAD role. While you’ll utilize industry-standard tools like Revit, Navisworks, and PIPE-FLO, SSOE distinguishes itself by integrating "vibe-coding" platforms and Large Language Models directly into the engineering workflow. You'll use these AI tools to streamline documentation, spark creative design solutions, and optimize system layouts. The focus is on leveraging high-level prompts and AI assistance to handle the heavy lifting of technical communication and system modeling.
