As a foundational member of the Utility Owners team, you will be instrumental in 4M’s mission to digitize the underground infrastructure landscape—essentially building Google Maps for what lies beneath our feet. This role isn't about traditional product management; it's about operating as a 'strategic builder' who can identify high-stakes market problems and immediately manifest software solutions. You will spend your time in the field with customers, translating complex regulatory and civil engineering challenges into a clear product roadmap.

AI-Native Prototyping & Strategy

The technical core of this role revolves around high-velocity development using AI tools like Cursor and Claude. You will be expected to move from a customer conversation to a demonstrable web app at a pace that traditional manual coding cannot match. By leveraging an AI-first mindset, you will bridge the gap between initial discovery and production-ready engineering, ensuring that the software built actually solves the '0-to-1' problems of major utility providers.

Who You Are

• The Builder Mentality: You don't just talk about products; you use AI to design, code, and deploy functional software yourself.
• Strategic Experience: You have 7+ years in B2B SaaS or management consulting, giving you the ability to decompose complex business models and find the 'wedge' into new markets.
• Fluent Communicator: You are comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with the CEO and then immediately pivoting to translate customer workflows for the engineering pod.
