The Opportunity

Mindrift is seeking a freelance engineer for the Tendem project to architect advanced data collection systems. You will not just be writing scripts; you will be building resilient, AI-enhanced pipelines that can navigate the messy reality of the modern web. This is a flexible, part-time role designed for developers who excel at using high-level tools to solve complex technical puzzles.

The Tech Stack & Vibe

In this role, your Python skills will be augmented by a suite of AI-first tools. You will be working with OpenRouter, LangChain, and Apify to automate the extraction and validation of structured data from dynamic sources. This is an ideal environment for vibe coding as the focus is on end-to-end workflow ownership and leveraging LLMs to handle anti-bot mechanisms and site changes that would normally require tedious manual updates.

Requirements & Professional Growth

• Experience: At least 5 years in data engineering or automation, with a knack for solving non-trivial scraping problems.
• Modern Tooling: Mastery of Python scraping libraries alongside cloud/container tech like AWS and Docker.
• AI Integration: Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks to streamline data cleaning and normalization.
• Flexibility: Work remotely with a commitment of 10-20 hours per week, earning up to $40/hour while helping shape the future of AI-driven data intelligence.
