As a Solutions Architect, you will act as a technical partner for high-growth startups, helping them navigate the complexities of GPU selection, latency optimization, and model deployment. This isn't a role for someone who wants to spend all day writing production boilerplate; it's for technical leaders who can design systems and use AI tools to bridge the gap between business needs and machine learning reality.

Technical Focus & Vibe Coding Workflow

You will become an expert in the modern AI stack, working with runtimes like vLLM and SGLang to find the perfect balance between throughput and cost. Because speed is critical when dealing with frontier AI companies, Baseten encourages a "vibe coding" approach to technical discovery. You'll use AI-assisted development to quickly script benchmarks, build prototypes, and create proof-of-concept demos that show off the power of the platform without being slowed down by traditional development cycles.

What You'll Do

• Architect Solutions: Lead technical discovery to design repeatable deployment patterns for LLMs, voice AI, and generative video.
• Strategic Benchmarking: Advise customers on hardware tradeoffs, comparing performance across various GPU architectures like the H100 and B200.
• Collaborative Leadership: Act as the technical ringleader for customer trials, coordinating between sales and engineering to ensure successful implementations.
• Prototype Rapidly: Leverage AI tools to move quickly, turning ambiguous customer requirements into functional technical demonstrations.
