Staff AI Engineer

The Vision

As a Staff AI Engineer at Micron, you will lead the charge in transforming traditional software engineering into an AI-first discipline. Instead of focusing solely on manual syntax, you will architect systems where custom AI agents and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) handle the heavy lifting. Your goal is to drastically reduce development cycles by embedding intelligence directly into your workflow and the manufacturing solutions you deliver.

Technical Strategy

You will work across a robust full-stack environment including C#, ASP.NET, and Angular, powered by Kubernetes. Your day-to-day involves:

• Agentic Workflows: Developing custom AI agents that perform multi-step reasoning and automated task execution.
• MCP Integration: Implementing the Model Context Protocol to ensure seamless, structured communication between various AI tools and data sources.
• AI-Assisted Delivery: Utilizing "vibe coding" and prompt engineering to generate, refactor, and document code while maintaining human-in-the-loop oversight for production reliability.
