The Role: AI-Driven Automotive Architecture

Ford is reinventing the vehicle design studio by placing generative AI at the center of their engineering pipeline. In this position, you will act as a technical bridge, using natural language to build the digital infrastructure that connects visionary car concepts with physical engineering requirements. Instead of manual drafting, you will focus on building intelligent systems that provide real-time feedback on design feasibility.

Tech Stack & Vibe Coding Integration

This role is built for the modern developer who prefers prompting to typing. Key responsibilities include:

• Vibe Coding & Scripting: Using LLMs and tools like Cursor to generate Python scripts and macros that automate repetitive tasks in Catia and 3DX.
• Agentic Workflows: Architecting autonomous AI agents (using frameworks like CrewAI or AutoGPT) to monitor data integrity and manage design checklists.
• Generative 3D Modeling: Implementing text-to-3D and image-to-3D pipelines using tools like Vizcom and Luma AI to rapidly prototype vehicle surfaces.

You will lead the transition from traditional CAD processes to an AI-augmented environment.
