As an Associate on the Loan Origination team, you will bridge the gap between high-level commercial lending and cutting-edge automation. You'll be responsible for the full deal lifecycle—from initial sourcing and relationship management to deep-dive underwriting and closing.

While Excel remains a staple, this role is designed for the technologist-financier. Faropoint actively seeks candidates who can leverage LLMs and AI-assisted development to build faster underwriting solutions and smarter workflows. You won't just be filling out templates; you'll be using tools like Cursor or Claude to refine the way the firm analyzes risk and executes transactions.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Sourcing: Build a robust network of brokers and borrowers to feed the industrial pipeline.
• AI-Enhanced Underwriting: Develop financial models and credit memos, utilizing modern tech to accelerate data analysis.
