Electrical Engineer - Industrial Facilities

The Future of Industrial Engineering

This role places you at the center of large-scale industrial projects, where you will lead the design of power distribution systems for refineries and chemical facilities. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and cost estimation to final technical execution. Beyond standard engineering, you will act as a technical leader, coordinating with diverse teams and ensuring every design meets rigorous safety and energy standards like the NEC and ASHRAE 90.1.

Tech Stack and AI Integration

While you will utilize industry staples like Revit and CADD, SSOE differentiates itself by treating AI as a core teammate rather than just a buzzword. You will have the opportunity to:

• Leverage Vibe-Coding Platforms: Use natural language tools to accelerate design workflows and automate repetitive calculations.
• Utilize Advanced LLMs: Access industry-leading large language models to streamline documentation and solve complex engineering problems.
• Pioneer Automation: Work in a culture that provides the training and infrastructure to integrate AI-assisted coding into your engineering discipline.

Growth and Ownership

As an employee-owned organization, SSOE offers a unique path to financial and professional success, including the opportunity to purchase company shares that historically outperform the S&P 500. You will benefit from a culture of perpetual learning, where your ability to innovate with AI tools is directly rewarded with career advancement and leadership opportunities.
