Somnia is pioneering the next generation of Web3 by building a hyper-performance Layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for autonomous agents. As the Security Lead, you will be the primary architect of safety for a network where human intent and AI execution meet. You won't just be managing firewalls; you will be defining the security paradigms for a world where agents contribute to codebases and manage real-world assets.

Modern Tech & Agentic Workflows

In this role, you'll oversee a diverse stack including TypeScript, C++, Go, and Solidity. Unlike traditional security roles that can be bureaucratic bottlenecks, Somnia views security as an accelerator. You will utilize 'agentic harnesses' to automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident triage. This allows you to focus on high-level strategy, such as:

• Architecting secure-by-default patterns for agent-authored changes.
• Designing resilient multisig governance and sophisticated key management lifecycles.
• Hardening L1 infrastructure, including validators and RPC services, against sophisticated threats.

High-Stakes Leadership

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who thrives in high-pressure, high-reward environments. You will lead the charge in incident response, threat modeling, and red-team exercises, ensuring the protocol remains robust during a high-budget global launch.
