Java and Microservices with Generative AI - TL - Apple

Lead the Evolution of Enterprise Java

Infosys is seeking a forward-thinking Technical Lead to redefine how high-scale retail and logistics solutions are built. In this role, you won't just manage code; you will orchestrate the full development lifecycle by bridging the gap between complex business requirements and AI-driven implementation. You'll be at the forefront of a shift where strategic design and natural language prompting replace manual syntax as the primary drivers of software creation.

Modern Tech Stack Meets GenAI

This position focuses on building robust microservices within the Java and Spring Boot ecosystem, utilizing advanced tools to accelerate every phase of production. Relevance to vibe coders includes:

• AI-First Workflow: Direct application of Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to build RESTful APIs and Kafka integrations.
• Strategic Architecture: Transitioning from line-by-line coding to high-level system design and AI-assisted code reviews.
• Data Mastery: Managing both SQL and NoSQL databases through modernized, AI-enhanced query and schema design.

Growth and Impact

As a leader in the Retail and Consumer Goods unit, you will have the chance to mentor others in 'vibe coding' methodologies while maintaining the reliability of global systems. You will facilitate critical design discussions, refine CI/CD pipelines, and ensure that AI-generated solutions meet the rigorous standards of enterprise-grade software. This is a chance to prove that AI-assisted development can handle the world's most demanding technical challenges.
