Role Overview

In this senior leadership position, you'll act as a bridge between high-level product design and deep technical implementation. Based in Los Angeles, you'll join Microsoft’s elite design studio to help define the next generation of AI-driven productivity tools. This isn't about moving pixels; it's about defining the logic and personality of the AI agents that millions of people will interact with every day.

Technical Focus & AI Integration

This role is tailor-made for vibe coders who thrive on rapid experimentation. You will be expected to use natural language and advanced prompting to shape RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and context engineering workflows. By focusing on a 'maker' culture, you’ll build functional prototypes that demonstrate complex multi-turn reasoning, helping to set the technical requirements for future LLM models.

Strategic Growth

You'll be looking 6 to 12 months into the future, identifying emerging AI trends and turning them into reality. This is an opportunity to lead technical workshops for the design organization, raising the collective bar for AI fluency. You'll collaborate across disciplines—from data science to engineering—to ensure that Microsoft's AI experiences remain both innovative and responsible.
