Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer (Freelance)

Overview

Mindrift is recruiting experienced engineers for the Tendem project to build sophisticated data acquisition systems. As a Lead Scraping Architect, you will design and maintain end-to-end workflows that transform complex, interactive web sources into high-quality structured datasets. This remote, freelance position offers the flexibility to solve high-stakes technical problems using a modern, AI-first approach.

• Harnessing LLMs: Utilizing LangChain and OpenRouter to navigate unpredictable site behaviors and automate data cleaning.
• Smart Automation: Deploying Apify and containerized Docker environments to scale your output efficiently.
• Cloud Orchestration: Running complex scraping jobs on AWS infrastructure to ensure maximum reliability.

Qualifications & Benefits

We are looking for Python experts with at least five years of experience in data engineering or automation. You should be comfortable bypassing anti-bot measures and managing JS-heavy environments.
