Build an Operating System for AI Agents
Instabase's SuperApp uses agents to reason across unstructured data, collaborate, manipulate files, query systems, and execute code. As a staff AI engineer, you will lead the architecture of the Agent Harness that makes those behaviors secure and reliable for enterprise customers.
Own the Runtime Foundation
- Design state machines for planning, memory, pausing, resuming, and tool execution
- Build secure sandboxes and containment for dynamic, untrusted code
- Develop orchestration and integration layers with Go, Python, gRPC, and microservices
- Scale distributed workloads with containers, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, or related systems
- Establish APIs and technical direction for agent-facing platform capabilities
Solve the Hard Part of Agentic AI
This role sits where foundation-model capability meets production systems engineering. You will deepen expertise in isolation, stateful choreography, MCP-style integrations, and resilient execution while shaping a high-leverage enterprise AI platform.
