Avalara is seeking a senior leader to oversee massive R&D projects through a modern, AI-augmented lens. Instead of just managing spreadsheets, you will be building the future of engineering governance by creating custom tools and dashboards that turn raw data into strategic insights. You will bridge the gap between high-level executive vision and boots-on-the-ground engineering execution using natural language to drive technical results.

Tech Stack & Vibe Coding Integration

This isn't a 'paper-pusher' TPM role. You will be expected to leverage vibe coding techniques—using LLMs and AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude, and Copilot—to rapidly develop internal applications using Python and Streamlit. Your mission involves:

• Rapid Prototyping: Building data scripts and interactive dashboards to visualize engineering health.
• Intelligent Automation: Optimizing Jira workflows and SDLC hygiene through AI-assisted scripts.
• AI Advocacy: Mentoring global teams on adopting LLM-assisted delivery to increase execution velocity.
