Mapbox is looking for a strategic leader to steer their global developer community into a new era of software creation. In this role, you won't just manage a team; you will be a primary advocate for modern development workflows, utilizing AI-assisted tools to prototype and present the next generation of navigation technology. You will bridge the gap between complex geospatial data and the millions of developers building real-time location experiences.

The Role & Vibe Coding Tech

This position blends high-level program management with hands-on experimentation. You are expected to lead by example, using 'vibe coding'—leveraging tools like Cursor, Claude, and Copilot—to rapidly generate map-powered applications. By showcasing how natural language can be used to interface with Mapbox APIs and SDKs, you'll help lower the barrier to entry for developers worldwide. Your work will involve:

• Strategic Growth: Crafting the roadmap for how Mapbox educates and empowers its vast developer ecosystem.
• AI-First Advocacy: Building demos and tutorials that highlight the speed of AI-assisted development in the geospatial space.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentoring a high-performing team while collaborating with Engineering and Product to ensure a seamless developer experience.
