As the Director of Product Design for AI at Mural, you will lead the charge in defining how humans and intelligent agents co-create within a visual canvas. This isn't a traditional management role; it is a 'working director' position where you will architect the fundamental 'grammar' of agentic behavior—determining how AI discloses intent, requests permissions, and handles handoffs. You will lead an elite squad of designers while staying deeply involved in the craft of building the next generation of collaborative tools.

Vibe Coding as a Core Discipline

In this role, code is your primary design tool. You will use AI-assisted development and 'vibe coding' to rapidly prototype high-ambiguity workflows, ensuring that agentic interactions feel intuitive and trustworthy before they ever hit production. Rather than delegating all the technical work, you will personally use AI tools to pressure-test system behaviors, establishing the reusable primitives and interaction patterns that will power Mural’s AI-native future.

Growth and Leadership

With over 15 years of experience in product design and systems thinking, you will mentor a growing team and represent the design organization in high-level strategy sessions.
