Engineer II - Forward Deployed Engineer

The Role

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer within the Enterprise AI team, you will act as a high-speed bridge between complex business challenges and functional AI solutions. Your primary objective is to embed within internal teams to build functional prototypes at an aggressive pace—typically spanning just days or weeks. You aren't just building tools; you are defining the future of how a global biopharma giant utilizes intelligence.

Tech Stack & Vibe

This is an AI-first environment where AI-augmented development is the baseline, not the exception. You will leverage tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to handle the bulk of routine syntax, allowing you to focus on system architecture, framing, and validation. Key technical focus areas include:

• Agentic Workflows: Orchestrating multi-agent systems and autonomous delivery bot meshes.
• Modern Languages: Working across Python, TypeScript, and Go.
• Advanced AI: Implementing RAG, prompt engineering, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.

Growth & Impact

Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a mentor and strategist. You’ll guide junior engineers in AI-augmented development, qualify which problems are worth solving, and ensure that successful prototypes are packaged cleanly for full-scale production.
