Founding Product Manager (Vals Smith)
✨ Why This Is a Good Vibe Coding Job
Vals AI is building the literal benchmark for vibe coding success by helping firms quantify which LLMs actually work. As a founding PM, you’ll leverage AI-assisted development to rapidly prototype experimental evals and ingestion tools, embodying the high-velocity workflow the company itself empowers.
The Mission
As the first Product Manager at Vals AI, you will spearhead 'Vals Smith,' an enterprise-grade platform that brings scientific rigor to AI model selection. Instead of letting companies choose LLMs based on guesswork, you'll build the tools that provide empirical proof. You'll own the product roadmap from discovery to deployment, ensuring that the latest foundation models meet the grueling demands of the world's largest financial and medical institutions.
Vibe Coding at the Core
This isn't a 'meetings-only' PM role. You will be expected to prototype features, script data evaluations, and build proof-of-concept environments. Because you are working at the frontier of LLM evaluation, you will naturally leverage AI-assisted coding tools to maintain the 'learning velocity' the team prizes. You'll be the technical bridge between senior executives and the engineering team, using your ability to rapidly generate code and analyze data to keep the product cycle moving at lightspeed.
Growth and Impact
You will join an elite team of researchers and quants from Stanford, NVIDIA, and Meta. Beyond a competitive salary and a housing stipend in San Francisco, you’ll get a front-row seat to the Series A growth phase of a company valued at $400M. This is a high-intensity environment where your ability to ship AI-driven solutions directly impacts the go-to-market strategy for the next generation of enterprise AI.
