GenAI Tools Support Engineer
Cadence Design Systems
✨ Why This Is a Good Vibe Coding Job
Cadence is leaning heavily into the 'vibe coding' movement, explicitly seeking someone to manage high-end agentic tools like Claude Code and Cursor. This role is perfect for an AI-native developer who wants to influence how an entire enterprise transitions from manual syntax to natural language-driven engineering.
The Role: Architecting the AI Developer Experience
As a GenAI Tools Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone for Cadence’s shift toward AI-augmented development. You won't just be answering tickets; you will be optimizing how thousands of engineers interact with LLMs, ensuring that tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code are seamlessly integrated into their daily workflows. Your mission is to eliminate friction in the 'vibe coding' process by solving complex IDE integration issues and managing the secure deployment of agentic coding tools.
Tech Stack & Vibe Tools
You will live at the intersection of traditional enterprise support and modern AI workflows. Key focus areas include:
- Advanced AI Tooling: Troubleshooting and administering Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Integrated Environments: Deep diving into VS Code and JetBrains to fix indexing and context-awareness issues.
- System Governance: Managing license lifecycles and security protocols for Microsoft 365 Copilot and other SaaS-based AI platforms.
Growth & Impact
This is an opportunity to lead the adoption of generative AI within a world-renowned semiconductor design firm. You will bridge the gap between general IT support and deep-level platform engineering, gaining unique insights into how large-scale enterprises govern and scale AI. If you are passionate about how natural language is redefining software construction, this role puts you at the absolute forefront of that transition.
