The Role: Leading AI-Native Delivery

As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, you will head the team responsible for turning ambitious AI concepts into functional prototypes for GSK’s global operations. This isn't a traditional maintenance role; you'll be at the forefront of the Enterprise AI pipeline, building high-impact solutions and proof-of-concepts that solve real-world healthcare challenges. You will define the strategy for how the engineering team operates, moving away from manual line-by-line coding toward a high-velocity, steerable development model.

Tech Stack & Vibe Coding Focus

This position is tailor-made for developers who have mastered the art of prompting and AI orchestration. Key focus areas include:

• Agentic Workflows: Designing and implementing multi-agent systems and delivery bot meshes.
• Modern Dev Tools: Daily use of AI agents like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Databricks AI Assistant to accelerate delivery.
• Advanced AI Patterns: Implementing RAG, causal inference, and large-scale MLOps within a regulated framework.

Growth & Strategic Impact

You will have the authority to shape the engineering culture of a global biopharma leader. Beyond technical execution, you'll mentor senior engineers in AI-native practices, manage relationships with high-level business stakeholders, and decide which AI initiatives should be scaled for production.
