Redefining Policy with AI

As a Public Policy and AI Innovation intern, you will step into a role that blends legal research with technical rapid prototyping. Based in Washington D.C., you’ll be responsible for tracking federal and state legislation while simultaneously building the internal AI tools that make that tracking possible. You are expected to be an active builder, identifying gaps in current workflows and filling them with smart, automated solutions.

Technical Innovation & Vibe Coding

This position is specifically designed for 'vibe coders'—developers who leverage natural language and AI tools like LLMs to ship code faster. Your toolkit will involve:

• AI Prototyping: Creating internal interfaces to streamline data synthesis.
• Prompt Engineering: Developing specialized prompts to extract insights from complex legal texts.
• Rapid Iteration: Using AI-augmented workflows to solve 'normalized' problems in the policy space.
