UX Designer, Design Systems - Fire TV/Tablet , Devices and Services Design Team

The Role

Amazon is looking for a hybrid design-engineer to evolve the Fire TV and Tablet ecosystems. You will spend the majority of your time refining design systems and component libraries, while also designing sophisticated B2B tools and developer workflows. This is a high-impact position sitting at the nexus of hardware and digital service design, focusing on the '10-foot' UI experience and voice-first interactions.

Vibe Coding & Automation

This position is specifically tailored for the modern designer who leverages AI. You will be tasked with building AI-driven Figma plugins and workflow automations using JavaScript and TypeScript. By applying vibe coding principles, you'll accelerate design operations and create self-service documentation that empowers developers globally.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Build and maintain the component libraries for Fire TV, focusing on remote navigation and multi-window tablet layouts.
• Technical Tooling: Use AI-assisted development to create custom plugins that enforce design standards and eliminate manual overhead.
• Enterprise Design: Craft complex B2B workflows, analytics dashboards, and developer tools that facilitate team collaboration and account management.
• Leadership: Consult with a large design organization on component governance and the implementation of design tokens.
