✨ Why This Is a Good Vibe Coding Job
Why This Is a Good Vibe Coding Job. This position stands out because the employer explicitly seeks expertise in vibe-coding assistants like Windsurf and Cursor to streamline enterprise Java development. It offers a rare opportunity for a senior leader to implement AI-first workflows within a complex financial services environment, focusing on high-level architecture over manual syntax.
The Role
As a Vice President of Engineering, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural vision and execution. You will lead the development of sophisticated equity trading systems, balancing front-end elegance with high-performance back-end services. This position is designed for a technical leader who wants to move beyond manual coding toward building "well-vibed" systems where quality and speed intersect through modern, prompt-based methodologies.
Tech Stack & Vibe Coding
The environment is built on a solid foundation of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. Because this role explicitly encourages the use of AI assistants like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, you will be empowered to maintain high code standards across SQL databases and messaging systems like Kafka. You will use these tools to:
- Accelerate the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
- Mentor junior developers in AI-driven efficiency and prompt engineering.
- Ensure trade lifecycles remain seamless through AI-assisted debugging and profiling.
Growth & Impact
This is a prime opportunity to influence the technical direction of a financial services firm from a leadership position. You will shift your focus toward high-level system design and strategic mentoring rather than getting bogged down in boilerplate. By championing vibe-coding practices, you will help the team scale its output while maintaining the rigorous security and performance standards required in the securities industry.
